Cancellation Policy
Terms and Conditions – Wine Scholar Guild Course Offered by Armadale Cellars 1. Course Overview French Wine Essentials is a certification course developed by the Wine Scholar Guild (WSG), a U.S.-based wine education provider. Armadale Cellars is an authorised program provider offering this course locally. 2. Cancellations & Transfers a. Cancellations – One Month Notice Required Cancellations must be submitted in writing (email acceptable) at least 30 days prior to the course start date. • If you cancel within this timeframe, the cancellation will be processed and any financial liability will rest with Armadale Cellars. • No refunds or transfers will be provided for cancellations made within 30 days of the course start date. b. Transfers Due to the limited scheduling of this course, transfers to future French Wine Essentials sessions are not guaranteed. * If you are unable to attend, you may nominate a friend or family member to take your place. You must notify Armadale Cellars at least 7 days prior to the course start date to arrange this. * 3. Exams & Certification a. Exam Inclusions & Scheduling • The course fee includes one scheduled exam sitting, which will be held in person on a specified date, announced at enrolment. • If you are unable to attend the scheduled in-person exam or need to reschedule, the rescheduled exam will be taken online through the Wine Scholar Guild. b. Rescheduling the Exam • If you cannot attend the scheduled exam for any reason, you must reschedule through the Wine Scholar Guild directly. • A rescheduling fee applies, which is set and controlled by the Wine Scholar Guild and is payable directly through their website. • All fees on the Wine Scholar Guild are quoted in USD. • Rescheduled exams are taken online through the Wine Scholar Guild c. Exam Results & Re-sits • A minimum score of 60% is required to pass. • If you do not pass the exam on your first attempt: o You must pay a re-sit fee directly to the Wine Scholar Guild, and o Re-sit the exam online. o This re-sit fee is also set by the Wine Scholar Guild and quoted in USD. 4. Other Important Notes • All course fees are non-refundable within 30 days of the course commencement. • These terms differ from Armadale Cellars’ standard cancellation policy due to our agreement with the Wine Scholar Guild. • By enrolling in this course, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and acknowledge that all exam-related fees (rescheduling and re-sits) are controlled by the Wine Scholar Guild.
